Using AI-Generated Artwork for Your Banner

 

AI tools are a great way to show us your vision. Most AI images are made for screens, though, not printed banners. They often have low resolution, blurry details, or distorted text that become more noticeable when enlarged. Making the image bigger doesn’t fix these issues.

 

What to send: The largest original file from your AI tool, not a screenshot or resized copy. Do not send a banner design shown on a banner stand or display.

 

What Happens Next: We’ll review your file. If it’s ready to print, we’ll send you a

proof. If not, we’ll suggest one of two paths:

 

1.    Print your file as is, with your approval. Expect some blurred detail or softness. Often this looks fine when the banner is viewed from a distance. If the result would fall below our quality standards, we’ll let you know and won’t print it.

2.    Use your AI image as inspiration. We’re not able to recreate AI images, so this won’t be a 1:1 match. Our designers create a design in a similar direction using our custom backgrounds and design assets.  Design fees may apply.

Good to know

 

·  Our designers can’t reproduce the colors, textures, and details of AI images by hand.

·  AI-generated lettering often has errors, so double check all spelling and type layout.

·  Production time begins when you approve your final proof.

By approving a file to print as is, you accept its quality, clarity, and appearance in the finished banner, and refunds, returns, or reprints are not provided for issues that come from the supplied artwork. By submitting artwork, you confirm you have the right to reproduce it.
